YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The results of the Armenian-Ukrainian business forum are more than surprising–chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia–Aram Vardanian–told a new conference covering the results of the forum. Agreemen’s on the following issues were signed between the representatives of Armenia and Ukraine:
–on cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Armenia–the Ministry of Economic Ties and Trade of Ukraine and the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine,
–on the establishment of the "Armenia" Trading House in Kiev,
–on the establishment of the "Ukraine" Trading House in Yerevan,
–on the establishment of the Ukrainian-Armenian joint venture "Metal Service Center,"
–on the construction of sugar factories in Armenia,
–on cooperation between the Ukrainian League of Young Businessmen and the Armenian Center for Assistance to the Development of Youth Infrastructures,
–on joint production of solar equipment,
–on cooperation between the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia in the sphere of production and sale of semi-conducting materials,
–on trade and economic cooperation in the sphere of energy between Armenia and Ukraine,
–on cooperation between the YERAZ open joint stock company and the AUTO ZAZ-DAEWOO close joint stock company,
–on setting up a joint venture on the basis of the "Vedi Winery" open joint stock company and the Kiev Alcohol Producing Enterprise.
It was also reported that upon the initiative of the Ukrainian delegation forum participants had donated $10,000 for the construction of a cathedral in Yerevan.
