12 000 Attend Navasartian Closing Ceremonies

VAN NUYS–More than 12,000 individuals participated in the closing festivities of the 23rd annual Homenetmen Navasartian Games–Sunday. Present were Honorary Presidents of this year’s Navasartian Games Mr. and Mrs. Dikran and Zarouhi Der Ghazarian; Republic of Armenia Consul to Los Angeles Armen Melkonian; and Western Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian. The more than 5,000 athletes and scouts–as well as chapter representatives of the Western US–accompanied by guests from Argentina–Canada and France–participated in the parade and trophy presentation.
