Parliament to Pass Amnesty Resolution

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The National Assembly is expected to pass an amnesty resolution on the occasion of the upcoming anniversary of the re-establisment of independence on September 21–President Robert Kocharian announced during last week’s meeting of the Human Right Commission. The adoption of such a resolution was timed for Independence Day on May 28–but was delayed for lack of relevant statistic data.
