Journal to Help Civil Servants Published in Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– The second issue of the "Assistance to Civil Service" journal has been published. The journal–which was registered in April 1998–as an independent periodical–has no sponsors and was established by its editorial staff. Sixteen issues of the journal with a 1000-copy circulation each are expected to be published this year. Taking into account the fact that the journal is mostly spread among different departmen’s–and 3-7 and more civil servants work in each department–the real number of readers can be said to reach 2,000-4,000 people.

The editor-in-chief–Emin Yeritsian said that the journal’s main task is methodical and methodological assistance to civil servants. According to him–the journal is supposed to create a common information field in the civil service sphere–provide interdepartmental information and exchange of expertise–and arrange discussions on issues of state government.
