ARF Announces Election Plans in Karabakh

STEPANAKERT (ANIS)– The fifth Regional Convention of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Karabakh got underway in Stepankert on Tuesday.

Participating in the convention were delegates form all parts of the Republic as well as guests from the ARF Executive Council of Armenia.

Among the topics discussed during the convention were relations with other political parties–cooperation with affiliate and political organizations–establishment of political–economic and tactical policy–organizational-educational issues–and the upcoming local elections for Karabakh–and the participation of the ARF in cooperation with these newly elected members.

The ARF’s participation in the upcoming elections is in the form of 4 mayoral candidates–28 community supervisors and 57 candidates for local councils.

The ARF in Karabakh is also supporting 50 other–non ARF–candidates in 15 districts.
