720 000 Drams to Be Allocated to Choreographic School

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– Parliament Speaker Khosrov Haroutiunian said–"the choreographic school–being the only one in Armenia–should be given special attention by the government," during his visit to the school late last week.

Stressing the importance of an uninterrupted educational process–the speaker pointed out that an attempt will be made to increase budgetary appropriations for solving the problems of the school. Haroutiunian said that 720,000 drams will be allocated from a Parliamentary fund for repairs at the school.

Haroutiunian also pointed out that the law "On Military Obligation" contains a stipulation under which talented young people can be given deferment of military service. Advanced students–future dancers–can take advantage of this stipulation.
