Armenian Parliamentarians Speak in Strasbourg

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A parliamentary delegation from Armenia led by Armen Martirossian attended the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe held in Strasbourg on September 22.

A member of the commission on state and legal issues of the National Assembly of Armenia Frinze Kharatian spoke of issues concerning the rights of men liable for call-up. Martirossian’s speech concerned relations between the Council of Europe and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

The same day the Armenian parliamentarians were received by the chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Lenny Fisher.

Meetings of Armenian deputies with Council of Europe Secretary General Daniel Tarshys and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Bruno Haller.
