YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–It is difficult to organize parliamentary sessions only through the efforts of the Yerkrapah bloc–Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly–chairman of "Yerkrapah" group Albert Bazeyan told a news briefing Thursday.
Bazeyan said that if the National Assembly failed to convene a working session–all 78 members of his group would relinquish their legislative mandates and dissolve the caucus.
Bazeyan said it was unacceptable that certain political forces were seeking high-powered position and for personal political gains. The Deputy Speaker said he would resign and resume his activities in the field of science.
Bazeyan said he was confident that all previous governmen’s–starting with the communists–had never been fully politicized–adding that the objective for the establishment of a comprehensive political structure should be put forth following parliamentary elections. The parties that win in the elections "will form a government and will bear responsibility."
