LOS ANGLES–Western Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian–the Religious and Executive councils of the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church expressed their gratitude to prominent benefactors Mr. And Mrs. John and Asdghig Bedrosian for their most recent donation of $50,000 to the Prelacy on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays.
In an announcement issued Wednesday–the Prelate thanked the Bedrosians and other benefactors who–during the holiday season–generously included the Prelacy in their donations.
"With this donation–the Bedrosians once again demonstrate their staunch devotion and commitment to the Prelacy. It would be worth mentioning the fact tat only a few months back in September 1998–the Bedrosians donated a grand sum of $100,000 to the Great House of Cilicia and to the Prelacy," announced the Prelacy.
"Manuel and Josephine Sassounian also donated $10,000 to help the Prelacy on the same occasion. Indeed–the Sassounian’ continuous support help the Prelacy in the fulfillment of its mission and projects," the Prelacy reported.
On the same occasion–Mike and Victoria Bagatourian donated $5000 and more than 50 sponsors supported the Prelate’s traditional Christmas Armenian dinner–making the event a true success.
"On behalf of the Prelacy Religious and Executive Councils–the Prelate praised the Bedrosians for their spirit of giving. He also thanked all sponsors and donors for their financial and moral input–who are true supporters of the Prelacy in the expansion of its mission and success.
May God reward all the benefactors–and grant them a healthy life and success in their accomplishmen’s," concluded the announcement.
