Special Issue of Chinese Journal Dedicated to Armenia

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A special issue of the Survey of Markets of Eastern European and Central Asian Countries journal published by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in late December 1998 was dedicated to Armenia.

The journal has a large circulation and is distributed among all the Chinese central and local government bodies as well as large state-run and private companies.

The 64-page issue–(100-110 pages if translated into Armenian)–includes the message of the Chinese ambassador to Armenia–articles about Armenian-Chinese relations–history–current situation–economy–investment policy–science–trends of Armenia’s economic development and a number of other associated issues.

An agreement was reached with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences that one of the issues of the journal in 1999 will completely cover the problems of science and education in Armenia.
