Greek Armenian Organizations Sign Cooperation Agreement

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian "Foreign Investors Assembly" (FIA) and Greek "Hellenic Export Promotion Organization" (HEPO) signed recently a cooperation agreement. FIA President Varouzhan Kuzukian presented to HEPO President Janis Dzeni a package of business proposals to be discussed and put into practice within the next three months.

The information about the enterprises that participated in the meeting is–according to Vasilios Topaloghly–Manager of the "EKO-ELDA Hellenic Petroleum" company–"the most complete information the foreign investors need."

The FIA–which combines 167 foreign and Armenian companies–has been operating in Armenia’since last June. The "Armtran’supplier" public corporation concluded an agreement through the FIA’s mediation with the Iranian IRSOTR company. The agreement allows Armenian trucks to freely move through the Iranian territory

The FIA and the French APIFAT company signed an agreement under which the French side is to represent the FIA’s interests in France–attract investors and export the products manufactured at the FIA member-enterprises engaged in processing agricultural produce.
