CEC Announces Results of Majoritatian Slate Elections for National Assembly

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Central Electoral Commission Friday issued results of the May 30 National Assembly elections.

Of the 2,198,544 eligible voters–1,137,133 voted in the elections Sunday. Some 23,314 people have voted against all parties or factions in the proportional elections–while 65,568 votes have been voided. The parties or factions have received 1,057,932 votes in total–with 17,625 votes were found to have mistakes. The new National Assembly will convene on June 10.
