Prosecutor General May Lodge New Petition On Siradeghian

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Prosecutor General will lodge another petition on ex-Interior Minister Vano Siradeghian with the new National Assembly–if necessary–president Robert Kocharian told journalists on June 5. He noted that he is currently holding relevant consultations with lawyers. Some lawyers believe that there is no need in lodging a new petition–as the parliament has already passed a relevant resolution: "What has changed? Accusations are the same–the person is the same."

The president voiced confidence that the new parliament’s response to the petition will be the same.
