Ambassador to France Visits City of Alfortville

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s Ambassador to France Edward Nalbandian visited the city of Alfortville on June 12.

During the meeting with the city’s mayor–deputy of the National Assembly of France Ren Roucaive–Nalbandian stressed the importance of involving the Armenian-French friendship parliamentary group in various spheres of developing relations between the two nations.

The same day Nalbandian reportedly visited the St. Paul and St. Peter Armenian churches as well as the St. Mesrop Mashtots school in the city. He also held meetings with representatives of a number of Armenian organizations and unions at the House of Armenian Culture.

During his meeting with representatives of the local Armenian community the ambassador presented the results of the recent parliamentary elections in Armenia and the composition of the new parliament. He also addressed the current state of the Karabakh peace process and answered numerous questions
