16 Year Old Novelist Wins Prize

A 16-year-old Armenian novelist won the first place award for his novel Jasmin at the "Within Cultures" international contest in Spain.

Markos Khedayan has already authored five books–of which two have already been published. He has been participating in various competitions since 1993. Khedayan also placed first at the First Literary competition in Argentina in which youngsters from around the world participated.

Literature professor at the Spanish Extremadoura University Gregorio Torres was a member of the jury.

Khedayan lives in Buenos Aires–Argentina.
