Navasartian Games to Take Place August

The Homenetmen Regional Executive of Western America issued a statement announcing that the 24th Annual Navasartian games will begin on Thursday–August 19 and will run through Sunday August 22 at Birmingham High School located at 17000 Haynes in Van Nuys.

The games–which traditionally take place on July 4 weekend–were postponed for 40 days due to the passing of Catholicos of All Armenia’s Karekin I.

The Victory Ball will be held on Friday–August 20 at 8 p.m. at the Universal Hilton.

The trophies will be handed out on Sunday–August 22 at the Closing Ceremonies which start at 4 p.m. More than 5,000 athletes and scouts are expected to march during the ceremony.
