Ter Sahakian Had Free Access to Troops Commander Witness Says

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–At a court session on October 11 Artur Sarkhoshian–a witness in the Armen Ter-Sahakian case–confirmed that he had taken 4 or 5 members of the group on at a time by one order following the instructions of Internal Troops Commander Vahan Haroutiunian. Sarkhoshian worked as Head of the Personnel Department of the Militia Task-Force in 1990-92.

The witness also confirmed his preliminary testimony that Armen Ter-Sahakian–as a private–had free access to the Internal Troops Commander. Having learned that Ter-Sahakian had a previous conviction–the witness reported it to the commander–who–however–said that Armen Ter-Sahakian was to work in the system.
