Armenicum Patient Tested in Germany

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Russian soldier Nikolai Kolesnikov–one of the first patients to be treated with the experimental anti-AIDS drug Armenicum–is currently in Hamburg–Germany to undergo a series of blood tests.

Kolesnikov is currently at the Berhard Nokht institute where numerous tests are being carried out to determine the effects of Armenicum on his body.

While the tests are still continuing–the Armenian Health Ministry medical technology department director Emil Gabrielian told Armenpress that tests conducted by a group of German’scientists led by Manfred Dietrich have concluded that Kolesnikov’s immune system has been restored.

Kolesnikov is expected to continue other series of tests.
