YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–An arrangement dedicated to the completion of the "Modern methods of molecular and cell biology" training program implemented by the BioEcoMed public organization was held December 15 at the Institute of Molecular Biology–Armenian National Academy of Sciences.
Talking to Noyan Tapan–President of BioEcoMed–Deputy Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology Anna Boyajian said that under the training program–which was implemented from May 22 to November 22–a number of seminars were attended by 45 young specialists from academic institutes of Armenia. During the seminars–17 highly experienced foreign and local specialists introduced the young scientists to modern scientific methods–their application and peculiarities. The program was implemented under the inspection of the Institute of Molecular Biology and International Research Center.
Boyajian said that the goal of the BioEcoMed organization is to stop the drain of biologists–environmentalists and doctors from Armenia by supporting their creative ideas–strengthening their professional rights and improving their social and economic conditions.
The participants in the arrangement stated that such training programs will promote the formation of a new generation of scientists–maintain traditions of Armenian science in the current heavy conditions.
