Pilibos to Celebrate 30th Anniversary in 2000

LOS ANGELES–This year the Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School will celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Today–the school has a student body of 790. The goal of Pilibos is two-fold: to provide a strong curriculum which prepares students for university level studies while at the same time–providing an Armenian environment in which students can grow and learn.

In order to facilitate preparations for the various 30th anniversary celebrations–the administration has established a committee–which in the following weeks will unveil to the public its plans for marking this special anniversary.

The first event will be a dinner-dance–scheduled to take place on Saturday–April 1 under the auspices of Western Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian.

The event will be made possible with the financial support of the school and the Armenian community–as well as the generosity of well-known benefactors Mr. & Mrs. Richard and Tina Carolan–who have provide their generous support for organizing this event.
