YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–On January 27–in Astana–Kazakhstan–Armenian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Eduard Khourshudian presented his credentials to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
During the following meeting with the Kazakh president–the Armenian ambassador stressed the importance of restoring bilateral cooperation. The sides re-affirmed the countries’ leaders commitment of developing cooperation. President Nazarbayev assured Khourshudian that there are no political problems in the bilateral relations which could hamper the development of cooperation in various spheres.
The Kazakh president also pointed out that the two countries’ leaders reached an agreement on moving the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan from Alma-Ata to Astana in 2000.
