YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Recently Karabakh Parliament chairman Oleg Yessayan paid a visit to the office of the Union of Relatives of the Missing Persons (Missing in Action–MIA).
Familiarizing himself with the activities of the organization aimed at collecting and processing data on MIAs–the chairman of the Karabakh parliament promised to present compiled information at the forthcoming meeting of parliament chairmen of the South Caucasus to take place in Tbilisi through his Armenian counterpart.
Yessayan also offered to mediate the establishment of relations between the Union and international organizations operating in Karabakh.
In response to the request to establish the Day of MIAs–Yessayan noted that a decision on establishment of such a day will be taken after consultations with the National Assembly of Armenia.
