Iranian Embassy in Armenia Responds to Kalitsky

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Below is the statement issued by the Press Service of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia on March 4:

"By making his statemen’s Jan Kalitsky interferes in the issues related to the region–expressing his disagreement with economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran in the gas sphere," the statement says.

"These statemen’s are made without the political and economic independence of the countries of the region being taken into account–run contrary to healthy and right international relations–hinder the development of economic cooperation and free market relations and are considered interference in regional processes and in long-standing friendly relations between the two countries," the statement says.

According to the statement–"some forces that are in certain distant countries mix the Caucasus with the Caribbean basin and believe that by applying Monro’s policy and pursuing their financial policy–they can assume control over the world going to democracy and freedom."
