YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–At the court hearing of the Armen Ter-Sahakian case March 6–the Prosecution completed the study of the materials presented for publishing. The Defense presented a petition for references concerning the defendants to be attached to the case.
In particular–as a satisfaction of the petition presented by lawyer Lusine Sahakian–a reference was attached to the case certifying that Gevorg Darbinian’s parents "are confined to bed." As a satisfaction of the petition presented by lawyer Hamest Davtian–a reference was attached to the case certifying that Avag Davtian is in charge of his disabled father–wife and underage child. According to the document presented by lawyer Amaliya Avagian–the defendant Marzpet Grigorian provided families of veterans of World War II and disabled soldiers with wood. Thereafter the Defense petitioned for a number of documen’s to be read aloud in court.
The lawyers found it difficult to indicate where the volumes of the case material presented for publishing were to be found–stating it was not anticipated that the Prosecution would finish publishing the material so quickly. Finally–lawyer Seda Safarian asked for two days to study the case–and the defendant Ter-Sahakian asked for a month "for some documen’s to be brought from Vietnam."
The court satisfied Safarian’s petition and adjourned the hearing until March 13.
