“Caucasus Four” Meetings to Become Regular

MOSCOW (Armenpress)–Russia’s foreign minister Igor Ivanov’s messages to his counterparts in Azerbaijan–Armenia and Georgia were delivered by Ivan Borodavkin–a senior official of Russia’ foreign ministry–during his visits to the Caucasian states.

"During talks with the Caucasian leaders–they all confirmed their intentions to make meetings between ‘the Caucasian four’ regular. According to preliminary arrangemen’s–the Caucasian leaders will meet in Moscow this spring."

The leaders of Russia–Armenia–Azerbaijan and Georgia will discuss issues concerning the establishment of stability and security in the region–while seeking compromise solutions to existing problems.
