Armenian French Information Documentation Center to Open

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Head of Yerevan’s Erebuni district Mher Sedrakian and President of the French "Coframa" company Saverio Reque signed an agreement March 15 on the establishment of an Armenian-French information-documentation center. Reque said that the benevolent center will mark the beginning of cooperation between Yerevan’s Erebuni and Lion’s Ron-Alp districts. Similar centers are already operating in Russia and Ukraine–and negotiations are being conducted for the establishment of such a center in Belarus.

Attending the signing ceremony were Vice-Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan–Head of the Education Department–Yerevan Municipality–Silva Khmirian and Cultural Attach of the French Embassy in Armenia Rene Meldoyan.

Saverio Reque and the "Coframa" company’s International Relations Executive Kamelia Reque have been in Armenia’since March 7–and have already got acquainted with the country’s cultural and educational centers.
