Armenicum Misinformation Appears in Russian Media

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Information & Analytical Center of the "Armenicum" enterprise has dismissed the rumors actively spread through various news channels alleging Nikolay Kolesnikov’s death. Kolesnikov is the best featured patient that used Armenicum for AIDS. The misinformation is the continuation of the crusade against "Armenicum" launched and actively supported by the Russian mass media–such as the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper–the ORT TV Channel–as well as the Hamburg Institute of Tropical Medicine–which declared Kolesnikov deadly sick after he underwent treatment with Armenicum. It is clear that after such announcemen’s they will not show Kolesnikov safe and physically sound to the public–says Aslanian. The spread of such misinformation is continuing.

Kolesnikov–according to his own testimony–feels good and has no complaints. Doctors from the Armenicum clinic continue to keep an eye on their patients–including Kolesnikov and another 165 people–even after they are discharged from the hospital. Since Kolesnikov left Yerevan–doctors have recurrently contacted him by phone.

Aslanian announced that Kolesnikov is scheduled to come to Yerevan to be examined.
