Visitors of Expo 2000 Exhibition Greatly Interested in Armenicum

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The visitors of the Armenian pavilion at the Expo 2000 exhibition showed great interest in the stand dealing with the preparation Armenicum–Head of the Press Center–Armenicum project–David Aslanian–who represented Armenicum during the first 25 days of the exhibition–told Noyan Tapan.

He said that some of the visitors understood that Armenia is a country which–despite the hard economic conditions–has a high intellectual potential. The materials presenting Armenicum included booklets–posters–as well as two video films which tell about the history of the preparation–results of clinical tests–and the "Armenicum" clinic. The visitors might also see the web-site Armenicum which operated in an interactive regime. The number of visitors averaged 1,000 a day–and at least 50 percent of them wished to receive detailed information. Some of the visitors had already heard about the preparation–but most of them heard about Armenicum for the first time. The visitors showed particular interest in the possibility of taking courses of treatment and of purchasing the preparation. They were sorry to hear that the preparation is not sold and that they cannot to take courses of treatment in their countries until the preparation is registered there. There were also proposals made by Italians and Brazilians on holding workshops on Armenicum.

Aslanian also said that the project participants are currently studying the data on the treatment of 165 patients. Patent search is also being conducted to have the preparation registered in other countries.
