Armenian Egyptian Military Political Cooperation Discussed

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The secretary of the National Security Council–Defense Minister Serzh Sargissian met with the delegation of the Arab Republic of Egypt–led by the head of the administrative supervision service–former deputy minister of defense–General Ahmed El Tantau Goniem–accompanied by Egypt’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Armenia–Bakri Roushdi Al Ammari.

According to the defense ministry–during the meeting Sargissian presented the process of armed forces build up.

The counterparts exchanged ideas concerning the regional security problems and military-political situation. Sargissian presented Armenia’s standpoint on forming regional security system. Issues of bilateral interest and perspectives for the development of the military-political co-operation were also discussed during the meeting–which passed in a warm atmosphere.
