Armenian State Shares of The Ararat Plant Sold

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The YerPetVin Concern production company–registered in Yerevan and engaged in the production of spirits–bought the shares belonging to the government in St. Petersburg’s Ararat Plant for $300,000.

$50,000 is to be paid within next 10 days–another $100,000 until December 31–2000 and $150,000 until June 1–2001.

According to the government decision–YerPetVin Concern is obliged to purchase about 2,000 tons of grape from the rural economies of Armenia annually up to the year 2004.
