YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–President Robert Kocharian addressed a telegram of condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin–Monday–over the recent wreck of the Russian submarine "Kursk" in the Barents Sea. The telegram reads:
"On behalf of the Armenian people and on my personal behalf–I express my deep sorrow and condolences over the tragedy that occurred in the Barents Sea–claiming numerous human lives and causing much grief and suffering.
We share in the pain of the fraternal people of Russia caused by the tragic fate of the "Kursk".
I express my deepest condolences to the families of the wrecked submarine’s crew."
Prime Minister Andranik Margarian also addressed a telegram of condolences to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov in which he expressed his deepest condolences in connection with the tragedy with the Russian "Kursk" submarine. Margarian addressed his condolences to the families of the victims and all the people of Russia.
