New Government Appointmen’s

* ARF member Romik Manoukian appointed deputy governor of Shirak.

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Prime Minister Andranik Markarian signed a decree Friday to relieve Seiran Petrossian of his post as Deputy Governor of the region of Shirak.

Markarian then appointed Romik Manoukian Deputy Governor of Shirak–the Government’s Public Relations Department reported.

President Robert Kocharian issued a decree Thursday relieving Zhora Varosian–a judge in a trial court in the province of Lori–of his duties. By another decree issued on the same day–Kocharian appointed Suren Baghdasarian to replace the former judge.

President Kocharian also signed a third decree appointing Arthur Mkrtchian as prosecutor of the province of Lori. All three decrees were issued on the basis of the conclusion submitted by Armenia’s ministry of justice.
