Armenian American Task Force Holds Second Meeting

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–An Armenian government delegation led by Minister of Finance and Economy Levon Barkhudarian has been on an official visit to the USA since September 11. The delegation is participating in the second meeting of the Armenian-American intergovernmental task force in Washington. The delegation is discussing the realization of the proposals advanced by the Armenian side at the previous meeting of the task force–including the problem of introducing modern patenting standards and computer support.

The Armenian-American intergovernmental task force was set up to determine the directions of the planned US assistance to Armenia. The head of the American side is Ambassador Bill Teylor–and the Armenian side is headed by Levon Barkhudarian.
