Armenian French Exhibitions Open in Yerevan

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–An exhibition-sale of French books–organized jointly by France’s embassy in Yerevan and the Apollo publishing company opened Sunday in Yerevan. Around 1000 books by French authors and 20 Armenian translations are on display.

A joint exhibition of modern French and Armenian paintings representing works of 37 French and 70 Armenian artists opened today at Armenia’s National Picture Gallery. The exhibition is part of the Armenia-2000–Armenian-French program.

The French paintings were selected by the Paris- based Artitude studio. The exhibition will last until October 15.
