YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Leaders from Russia–Armenia–Belarus–Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed an agreement on the status of regional collective security forces in Bishkek during a CIS Collective Security Council summit.

The agreement provides a possibility of deployment of military units of member countries in case of a security threat. The presidents also signed an agreement on strengthening the military and technical cooperation–and developing a program on a collective security system until 2005.
