Turkish Reporter Offers A Hand Of Friendship

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenian reporters met with two Turkish reporters on October 12 at the headquarters of the A+1 private TV Channel who arrived in Armenia to probe the public reaction following the passage of the genocide bill by a US Congress committee–which is now pending now.

However–it appeared that one of the reporters–Nazim Alpman from the Milliyet daily did not show up. His colleague from Hyurriet daily Faruk Bildirici declared that he had come not to answer questions but to offer a hand of friendship and seek cooperation.

He said that Turkish reporters have had good experiences with Greek reporters and would desire a similar friendship between the Armenia’s and Turks.

Following this introduction–Faruk Bildirici went through an ordeal of tough questions by Armenian reporters which he either could not or did not answer.
