YEREVAN (Armenpress)–A Russian delegation–including law-makers–members of the Presidential and security council staff–governors and prominent men of art and businessmen are arriving in Yerevan on November 3. The visit is organized and sponsored by the Union of Russia’s Armenia’s.
The delegation members are expected to meet with by President Robert Kocharian on the same day.
The delegation’s itinerary includes a visit to the village of Malishka to attend the opening ceremony of a church–which is supposed to commemorate the friendship between Armenia’s and Russia’s. The church is to be consecrated by the head of Armenian Church Catholicos Karekin II.
The delegation will also visit the genocide memorial in Yerevan and will visit the Catholicos Karekin II before departing for Moscow.
