Germany to Consider Genocide Resolution

ISTANBUL (Marmara)–Chairman of the Turkish Labor Party Doghu Perincek announced that a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide was to be placed on the agenda of the German Bundestag–reported the Istanbul-based Marmara daily newspaper.

The Labor Party leader said that Prof. Tessa Hoffman of Berlin’s Hur University has organized a movement and has collected more than 10,000 signatures to present to the German parliament.

Perincek said that he was convinced that German’secret police was behind the introduction of the resolution.
