Armenia’s Prime Minister to Visit China in December

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia’s prime minister Andranik Markarian received a Chinese delegation today–led by deputy foreign trade and economic cooperation minister Khe Siaovei.

The government press office quoted the prime minister as saying that "Armenian authorities are grateful to China for granting 1000 tons of wheat to ease the aftereffects of a severe drought that hit Armenia’s agriculture last summer."

The prime minister also congratulated the Chinese side on winning an international tender for re-equipping the 5th unit of Hrazdan Hydro power station.

Prime minister Markarian expressed hope that specific programs for boosting the bilateral cooperation will be discussed during his visit to China scheduled for December.
