Exhibition of Children’s Paintings to Take Place in Europe

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Leaders of the Council of Europe–foreign diplomats and other senior European officials visited an exhibition of works from the Yerevan Aesthetic Center–which opened in Strasbourg (France).

The exhibition included the works of children from Council of Europe member-countries and those which are to become members–such as Armenia and Azerbaijan. Each country was represented by the work of only one child. The initiative of organizing the exhibition belongs to a member of Germany’s Bundestag Christo Lorhern–who had visited Armenia’several years ago. The works were displayed in the city of Filinngen-Schwiningen–Germany. The work of an Armenian child who lives in Germany was also displayed.

Another exhibition including the work of ten Armenian painters’ works is also scheduled for the near future.
