GLENDALE–The Armenian Revolutionary Federation will mark its 110 years of service to the Armenian nation this Sunday December 3rd 2000 at the Pasadena City College Sexon Hall (1570 East Colorado Blvd.) at 6:00 PM.
The speaker of the evening will be ARF Bureau Representative Hrant Markarian from Armenia–who was born in Iran and moved to Armenia with his family during the start of the war in Artsakh. Markarian also spoke at the Paris Commemoration of the 110 Anniversary of the ARF.
This will be Markarian’s first visit to the United States. During his ten day visit to Los Angeles he will visit Armenian establishmen’s and organizations and meet with various representatives of the community.
Also–on the same day at 11:30 AM the ARF Western Region Central Committee has organized a memorial service at St. Mary’s Church for all who have been martyred for the well being of the Armenian nation.
During the commemoration there will be musical performances by Karnig Sarkisian–Hovig Krikorian–Harout Pamboukjian–Nersik Ispirian and Roupen Hakhvertian from Armenia.
The Armenian community is invited to partake in the events planned for this occasion.
