Georgian Delegation Arrives in Armenia

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–A Georgian delegation–led by state minister Georgy Arsenishvili–consisting of Georgia’s transport and communication minister Merab Adeishvili–finance minister Zurab Nogaideli–the head of the tax service department Mikhail Chikviladze–the head of the customs service department Georgy Gachechiladze–the deputy foreign minister Merab Antadze–parliament deputies and other officials–arrived in Armenia February 17 on a one-day working visit. According to the government information and public relations department meetings with Armenia’s president–prime minister–Catholicos of all Armenia’s are expected to be held. After the private conversation of the prime ministers of the two countries–an expanded meeting of the delegation is anticipated as well. Issues demanding joint solution–which concern the sectors of transport–finance–gas supply and energy–frontier trade and other areas–as well as issues of the development of Armenian-Georgian friendship and partnership coming up from centuries–are to be discussed.
