Armenian Genocide Monument Unveiled in Sevre

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A monument in honor of the Armenian Genocide victims and the Armenian soldiers who fell in battle for France–was unveiled in the French town of Sevre on March 3.

Armenian Ambassador to France Eduard Nalbandian–ex-minister of the interior of France–chairman of the General Council of Au de Sien Charles Pasquoir–and Mayor of Sevre unveiled the monument – a khachkar (cross-stone).

Attending the ceremony were members of the French Senate–members of the French National Assembly and leaders of Armenian unions of France.
