Power Ministers Address Regional Security

YESENDOUKY–Russia (Armenpress)–The national security–interior and defense ministers of Russia–Georgia–Armenia and Azerbaijan met Tuesday to discuss the efforts to quell terrorism and crime in Northern and Southern Caucasus.

The Itar-Tass news agency reported that the power ministers of the four states have also discussed cooperation in border patrol to avoid cross border criminal activities–including drug and weapons trafficking,

The four leaders outlined the imperative for the immediate exchange of information within the countries regarding internal criminal activities.
