Armenia EU Cooperation Council to Meet in November

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Bilateral relations between Armenia and the European Union (EU) as well as issues connected with the meeting of the Armenia-EU Cooperation Council which will be held in Luxembourg in November.

Specifics of the meeting of the council were discussed during the meeting of Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian with the Troika delegation of the European Union that was visiting Armenia.

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs–during the meeting–because of the recent terrorist attacks on the United States–the two stressed the need for joint efforts by the international community to combat terrorism. Minister Oskanian said Armenia is ready to cooperate with both the United States and with international organizations in their fight against terrorism.
