Bleyan Creates New Human Rights Organization

YEREVAN–October 3 (Noyan Tapan). "Tanik" ("Roof")–a human rights organization–will be registered with the Ministry of Justice next week. The founder of the organization is Ashot Bleyan–a former education minister.

Ashot Bleyan–who was recently released from prison–ses the major task of the organization in helping citizens who return from places of confinement re-integrate into society as well as in defending the rights of convicts.

"We ought to take concrete action to help the one who falls down get back on his feet," said Bleyan.
