Ankara Opposes Polish President’s Statement

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Turkish officials felt uneasy over Poland President Aleksander Kwasniewski’s statemen’s–that mass killings of Armenia’s in the last years of the Ottoman Empire constituted a genocide–according to Istanbul-based Aksam daily.

Kwasniewski made the statemen’s during a visit to Genocide Memorial in Yerevan and again during a meeting with students and professors of Yerevan State University.
