Armenia Attracts Ukrainian Businessman

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–"Armenia’s internal political stability is especially attractive for businesses," said Alexander Yedin–Honorary President of the Ukrainian "Intercontact" company and deputy of the Ukrainian Rada (parliament) during his meeting with President Robert Kocharian on Tuesday. According to the president’s public relations department–Yedin also assessed Armenia’s approaches to developing a favorable industry.

Yedin is in Armenia with Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy Alexey Golubev to conduct negotiations to purchase the Nairit-1 CJSC.

According to Yedin–a group of Ukrainian experts accompanying the businessman will study the current state of Nairit-1 CJSC and after further deliberations–they will present their decision to the Armenian government officials.
