Next Inter Parliamentary Commission Meeting Set for Spring

STEPANAKERT (Noyan Tapan)–The Karabakh representatives in the Commission on Armenia-Karabakh Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation are unanimous in their opinion that their colleagues in Armenia are first of all concerned with the stabilization of the political tensions of Karabakh and they are ready to take an active part in creating supportive programs for Karabakh’s social and economic development.

At a press conference on Wednesday–Karabakh National Assembly Vice-Chairman Moushegh Ohanjanian said that during the Yerevan meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Commission an agreement was reached between the two parliamen’s to have these meetings periodically throughout the year.

The next meeting will take place in Stepanakert next spring.

Eduard Aghabekian–the Chairman of the Commission on Social Affairs of the Karabakh National Assembly–said that Armenia’s Parliament should serve as an example for future actions of Nagorno Karabakh’s legislature.
