Karabakh Foreign Ministry Blasts Azeri Untruths

STEPANAKERT (Karabakh News Service)–In recent days–the Azeri media has begun to actively disseminate misinformation regarding a so-called military pact between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic–Abkhazia–Transdnester and Southern Ossetia.

The press service of the Karabakh foreign ministry issued an announcement Thursday–blasting this recent Azeri disinformation campaign aimed at destabilizing the region and the Karabakh peace process.

The announcement stressed that during meetings with foreign ministers of the aforementioned republics the imperative of establishing military strategic guarantees–based on international models and precedents.

"The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic–which has its own potential of safeguarding its national security–and at this juncture it does not require complementary military forces," announced the Karabakh foreign ministry.
